Abstract:
My father, and first mentor, impacted me greatly. He gave to not only me, but to the people of Gujarat, India through the immeasurable daily gifts of knowledge and social uplifting. He gave to me the lasting gift of courage to follow my passion instead of a “corporate mirage.” He was the first hero in my life.
Ektta is a project of the Silicon Valley based non-profit, Indians For Collective Action (ICA), which was founded in 1968 and has a long history of incubating innovative organizations. I am very fortunate to be connected to ICA since 2005, where I started my journey by supporting Kutch, Gujarat disaster recovery project. This was a beginning of my root to meaningful understanding of various social development activities & services.
